History behind the company Matthews & Peart started as glaziers in Shrewsbury back in 1961. The company was started by Mr Brian Peart & Mr Jim Matthews and was run from premises in Wood Street, Greenfields, Shrewsbury. In 1973 the company moved to Coton
Hill Glass Works, Shrewsbury.
A second generation now moves this family business on. The company is now run by Peter Dulson and his wife Helen Dulson (nee Peart), Peter being with the company since 1981 has a vast amount of experience gained over the years. A third generation is working for the company. Andrew Dulson, who is working as a company surveyor.
In January 2002 the company purchased the land and built a factory on the New Battlefield Enterprise Park, where parking and access is easy.
The premises includes a large workshop where we
supply the windows and doors that we fit. We employ our own skilled fitters, who have been with us for many years, (Not sub-contractors).
In our new showroom, we can display a number of different window and door designs made from uPVC in white,
rosewood, golden oak, and cream. We also manufacture aluminium windows, doors and secondary glazing.
We design and build conservatories to any shape and size. We have experienced contacts in the trade for basework, electrical and tiling.
We supply glass cut to size, polished edges and offer a 24hr emergency boarding up service.
We don't employ any sales representatives. Instead we make pre-arranged appointments and Peter Dulson will make a personal visit to discuss your requirements.
We are a FENSA registered company and our registered number is 10642.
All our work and products come with a 10 year
guarantee.
